Energy and Vitality Healings

Calm Nest’s expert practitioners offer many different energy healing methods, or modalities, so you can find the one that’s right for you

We take our first breath within ten seconds of coming into the world. For every moment after we continue to breathe life into our bodies and yet, most of us don’t use the proper techniques to optimize this natural bodily function. Give your body a true deep breath with the tools and practice of breathwork therapy. Breathwork meditation encompasses a range of exercises designed to enhance your breath through proper form, posture, inhalation, and exhalation.

Using focused intentional breathing, breathwork therapy improves overall wellness, from mental health to cellular function. With full, satiating breaths in and out, breathwork increases oxygen flow and teaches us how to fully expel stale air from our lungs, disciplining the overactive brain and clearing out stuck energy. This conscious control of the rate, rhythm, and depth of our breath, is a relaxation and meditative technique used to reduce psychological stress, control anxiety and emotion, focus thoughts, and balance the nervous system.

When we think about our breathing, our mind slows down and focuses on the present moment, increasing our concentration and calmness. Breathwork therapy aids in improving health problems associated with chronic stress, greatly reduces blood pressure, and can assist in addiction recovery and the trauma related to it.
Why participate in Breathwork Sessions?
Taking a breathwork session can increase the amount of energy that is released into our cells, giving us more energy throughout the day and boosting our immunity. Breathwork allows us to feel a deeper connection with ourselves and takes us on a journey of self-love and improvement. It can also increase blood flow in the digestive tract, which decreases uncomfortable feelings of bloating or indigestion. Overall, it creates a powerful moment to connect with our spirit and lead us into a state of bliss.
What to expect during this session
Although the breathwork session may differ slightly from one practitioner to the next, know that you will use your breath to release blocked energy. Depending on the breathing patterns used, you may feel lightheaded, hot, and/or tingling in your extremities. Be assured that this will pass when the exercise is over. Your video may be on for part or all this session.

We are surrounded by a variety of sounds from everything around us on a regular basis. Whether it be cars, birds, children or other sounds, our subconscious is affected by them all. So why would sound healing be beneficial if we hear things all the time? Sound healing focuses on the power of vibration and frequency waves. When a sound is played by a particular instrument, it produces a certain vibration in the air. Our bodies do what they can to match that vibration, creating harmony in the body.

Sound therapy healers often use crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, drums, rain sticks, and chimes to create this powerful and relaxing experience. You will leave these sound healing sessions deeply relaxed, focused, and de-stressed.
Why participate in Sound Healing?
Sound healing therapy is used to improve general well-being and slow down brain waves to a relaxed state, promoting self-healing in the body. Sound healing clears energetic blockages, which leaves you feeling balanced and replenished. It is used to help with various health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, dementia, and other behavioral disorders. Sound energy healing alleviates these symptoms by reducing stress, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels, teaching pain management, and improving sleep.
What to expect during this session
Sound healing takes place with the use of a variety of tools used by the practitioner. This sound energy healing session will require that you have a quiet space to rest your body. The practitioner will create different sounds with tools and guide you through the experience with questions of where to focus your energy. Your video may be on or off for this experience.
