Let your journey begin…
Inbal Gonen is a woman who has always worn many hats. She started her career as a phlebotomist and EMT working in a doctor’s office while studying psychology at UCLA. This work enriched her great interest in the human body and how to help it heal. After graduating from UCLA, her interest led her to a career in education. While completing a Master’s in Educational psychology with a specialty in Early Childhood Education, she worked as a teacher for both typical and special needs children. In addition, she was a parent educator and worked with staff on professional development. After the birth of her first child, Inbal made the choice to shift her career once more and became the CEO of her family full time.
Inbal grew up with anxiety and depression, which runs in her family. She has been supported by conventional talk therapy and is aided by medications to keep her mental health in check. However, her greatest time of calm came after she integrated energy healing into her life, supplementing and complementing the tools she had experienced until then.
At 19, after the passing of her grandmother, she was given the book Many Live, Many Masters written by Brian Weiss. This was her first official introduction to all things Energy and she was intrigued and curious to learn more. She took Tai Chi, where she experienced the “weight” of her instructor’s energy on her shoulders; felt the sensation of releasing toxins after a cranio-sacral massage; embraced many emotional and physical releases and comforts while energy moved through her body during reiki and biofield tuning sessions; and the reveled in immense power of calm through a regular meditation practice.
So, after 15 years, 3 children, 3 dogs and an amazing husband, her career has shifted once again.
She has always had an innate understanding of how people learn and their need to feel whole. And so, with her education and her life experience, it was no surprise that the idea for calm nest, came to her during a meditation.
